Default Advise on 1J injectors - top feed around 650cc needed

    G'day all,

have read through a few injector threads chasing a bit of info.

i want a set of top feed injectors - i have a fuel rail to suit. need to have 14mm tops.

i would use 440cc if i could find good ones cheap - then upgrade if i need more fuel later.

otherwise it looks like i need to go aftermarket in which case i reckon something around 650cc would be nice.

anyone have anywhere GOOD to recomend to start looking?

    brands to buy or avoid?

    what kinda dollars is fair?

    Cheers

    thanks....

ouch - $120 ea? so like $720 for the set.....

they would want to be good.

any idea on how different they are from say denso/sard? have heard that seimens are a bit ordinary on the spray pattern.

what kind of rear wheel kilowatt figure would 525 cc comfortably support?

    Cheers

Blitz are the best! they don't do things half assed.

not sure what sort of power figure they would be happy with, but they are listed as the upgrade for 1JZ-GTE and 3SGTE so i would think they could put up with a bit.

here is a link to Blitz, its all in Jap but you get the idea.

Stop the gayness, 1000cc+ or nothing at all. if you go 650's you will be kicking yourself when you turn up the wick and it is out of injector.

if you want I will get you a price, also I have started a custom 1J inlet manifold you might be interested in

if you only want 440s, I have some 2jz-gte vvti injectors.. which are either 440s or slightly bigger
They will drop into a factory 1j fuel rail, which means they're side feed (not sure why you want top feed?)

anyhoo, I'd be willing to let them go pretty cheaply (considering they're releatively low kms)

With the exchange rate the way it is ATM, you can pick up Sard 650cc or even 800cc injectors for about $80 each.

If you only want 440cc top feed injectors try some of the Skyline forums or Ebay for GTR injectors.

Why the fascination with top feed injectors may i ask? And also, Whats your power goal? No use installing 650's or bigger if your only chasing like 250rwkw or something.....
