    you know what,

surprisingly the prius handles really really well - through most corners it was stuck like mud and at decent speeds, however i think if i wanted to get a bit better through the corners i shouldve bumped up the tyre pressures.

Straight line power was where it was smashed...

i saw the 2 ae71's and the 2 soarers, but i only got to talk to one of the guys in the ae71 - the green one,

spoke to a pair of dudes driving a 20v ae86 as well

Honestly though it seemed to be a bloody honda, evo and silvia day didn't it!
    haha

we need more representation next time!!

will upload pics when my mates send them to me

there was a couple of incidents that lost us a bit of track time - an evo 9 had a run in with the hill

but i think for the amount of cars we had there everyone got to have a decent go?

hahaha but i passed you on a corner with everyone else... dammn prius holding up traffic

I spoke to the dudes in the sprinter hehe i was was able to hold them back for a few laps in my ae71 and they were running a blacktop! i guess their suspension wasnt up to scratch around the corners.

The track time was sufficient i must say considering the amount of and variety of cars that were there. Cant wait for next round.

I had a great day but how loud was that NA Silvia and the ae86 after he lost his exhaust! Apart from the few interruptions the day went well. Didn't get many pics but I'll post tomorrow when I get to work.

i only did 2 sessions in the prius...

the first session i was taking it easy then again i wasn't going all out through the corners as crashing on the track would probably = getting fired

Second session i was right behind that vspec II off the bat and i was surprised when it took the people behind us until around the end of the 2nd / start of the 3rd lap to catch up... i was trying to let you guys passed but the commodore wouldn't pass me for some reason...

i wanted people to pass me so i could play around with the lines in the prius but even when i signalled across in some instances people wouldnt pass me... even when i was swinging way wide for them and tyring to stay off the line

i was at oran park today looking at the initial drift practice day... it was alright but VERY VERY busy...

those guys were waiting for up to half an hour for a 2 minute run...

Anyway, will get pics when we can..

The sprinter was loud as it lost it's exhaust and was pretty much just running on extractors and a cat...

and that silvia is ALWAYS loud... i don't know whether the guy drives with ear plugs in or is naturally half deaf?

Glad you guys had a great day - i think next event will be at wakefield, and we're also hoping for a return to EC for a night time session later this year!

Kebin, I had a giggle at your exhaust - I didn't realise it was you or I'd have come up to say hi. What was your best time? Mine was 1:57.

Love EC - if there's another chance to go this year I'll be there for sure.

yeah it was pretty packed out - i guess they didn't realise just how many cars registered for the day...

Anyway, as long as people enjoyed their time, that's what counts..

Will post up when i hear of anything else from Circuit club...

oh, also, forgot to mention that times will be posted on the circuit club website in a few days..

also, v8soarer which soarer were you driving - the one with the carbon fibre bonnet or without?

I think i saw that one of the soarers was supercharged..

    awesome stuff

Mine has the CF bonnet - NA with individual throttlebodies and the other is supercharged pushing 10psi with an m90. Neil who was driving the blown Soarer did my 5 speed conversion 3 or 4 years ago.

Here's mine - I know the wing looks a bit ghey but it only goes on for trackdays as I have a spare bootlid. Keeps the rear end planted through turn 1.
