    Default best engine for conversion

interested which engine would be the best for a GJ sigma conversion.
    daily driver street legal (nsw)
    1ufze (FI)
    1jz-gte
    2jz-gte

i've heard various goods/bad for each.
wanted to know people's view etc. as unbias as possible

Whats the weight of the sigma (as per RTA rego) first that may rule out the 1uzfe + FI as a start
    If in doubt power out

Define "best". For outright power the 1UZ + FI is the obvious winner but street legality is another story.

i've been talking to some people including an engineer.
i can run up to a 4.7(FI) in nsw.

im would be willing to sacrifice some power for handling, i'll most likely put in coil overs etc.

4g63b. All worship the mighty evo moto. A 2jzgte or boosted 1uzfe would go harder but not worth the extra work over the bolt in option. plus you can get any part over the shelf for reasonable money. id say GT30 instead of tdo6 but hey, i like argueing !
    GA23(never finished-now with cracked block ) JZX83 (Tyre eater) 3sgte AE86. by now i should know better.

Not sure the 63 is a total bolt in however... But it is the king of 4 pots (entire nations ahead of 3S or SR, and a little more findable than FJ)

Dare I allow myself to be strangled to death here, and suggest LS1 as an option?

I'd be surprised if the LS1 was heavier than 1JZGTE or 2JZGTE.

ls2 is 208 kg, and i think the ls1 is slightly lighter, about mid 190kg ish
thats pretty light for the size, power they can make.
Id say dont go the ls1, but i wouldnt be able to provide a good reason. they are such an easy motor to screw extra power out of as well, dont have to buy management, and every mechanic in australia knows all about em.

how heavy is the lexus v8?
i'll look into the LS1/2 route. as well thogh.

i heard to run the 1ufze i'd have to ran a stand alone aftermarket ECU, cause of traction control issue amgonst others?
