    Default fuel gauge

    hey i have a speco fuel gauge and sender sitting here that i got new and i have hooked it up but have not installed the sender and it seams like the gauge is rooted, it does not go up. i ask this caause my gauge in my celica wont work i think its the sender.

    hmm? you have a fuel gauge with no sender and wonder why it doesn't work??

    that was a rhetorical answer -

    when installing your aftermarket gauges no matter what brand, unless oem you are 99% of the time required to install the supplied sender. Or else it wont work at all and give you incorrect values. So you wonder why it doesn't work as your missing that piece..

    but i am saying that i have the speco fuel gauge and the speco sender, and doing a out of car hook up it is not reading at all. so by saying i have a speco fuel gauge and sender i am saying i have the speco sender

    So you wired the guage and the sender up out of the car and its not working. Are you sure you wired it correctly? If youve wired it correctly and its not working then maybe you should return it.
