    Hi,

    18R-GTE.....

Rebuilt 18R-GUE (270 head), with forged pistons (8.5:1), stock cams, stock head gasket, SARD 700cc injectors, GT25 turbo, Autronics EM4, and running 12lb of boost.

This is the dyno from the initial tuning. When she's run in she will get re-tuned.

Reviving a very old thread (and noting all the image links are broken).

Will post up a sheet once it's tuned properly and the bugs are sorted, but I'll put in words the best result so far:

    18R-GTE (converted from 18R-GUE)
    Megasquirt MS3X computer
Running semi-sequential with crank angle sensor and coil on plug (1NZ-FE coils)
Home made turbo manifold and twin entry CT26 (Aus delivered), small intercooler on the front
Arias 8.5:1 92mm forged pistons, prepped factory rods, factory crank, line bored and balanced
    4.4kg Fidanza aluminium flywheel
ARP head studs (Mitsubishi Astron), rod bolts, crank studs and flywheel bolts
Home made extended sump with turbo return wing and flapgate baffle
Turbosmart FPR and VL fuel pump (Bosch 070)
Mitsubishi 4G63 turbo 450cc injectors, soon to be 510cc units
    Cometic 92mm headgasket
Two thermo fans, one 12", one 10" with JAR radiator
Stock 88270 cams, stainless oversized valves, and home ported head

Xtreme cushion button clutch, W58 gearbox and 3.73:1 T series TRD LSD to 225/50R16 Kumho KU36 semi slicks round off the drivetrain.

The figures? At the moment, running 8psi boost, and only managing 4500rpm before a fuelling issue, I'm getting 155rwhp, or about 245N.m of torque. From 2000rpm to 4500rpm the torque appears very flat.

Dyno chart once I have it revving properly at the desired 16psi boost.

    G'day,

    18R-GTE.....

Rebuilt 18R-GUE (270 head), with forged 92mm pistons (8.5:1), stock cams, Cometic MLS head gasket, Mitsubishi (ND) 550cc injectors, CT26 turbo, Megasquirt MS3X, and running 13lb of boost.

The turbo seems to be somewhat shagged, so will try again after the RA23 and MS83 are done and I get a GTX28 or 30 and some lumpier bump sticks...

Not sure if this is where the engine should be sitting given that everyone's links are dead

Stock 9.7 comp pistons, 88253 head. Back on the road after a rebuild in July. Twin 40mm solex.
