I am planning to head out to WSID on wednesday, Grizzly will also be there to show me how a real GT4 goes

Anyone else planning on going?

yeah you did, i was there to whatch some cars run, the only toyotas were 2 jzz30 that ran 12.5's. a jza80 that launched then rolled to a stop, an ae111, and an mz20 that ran 14.5. ohh and a very brisk crown

12.5's pfft. I ran one 12.5, due to wheelspin off the line. The next run I ran a 11.4. I was in the white jzz30, Dan in the green one was running 12.1-12.2's all night.

The track was shit last night. Had to lower my stall up a lot to stop it wheel spinning. I was just behind the xw/xy falcon that smacked the wall off the line.

The supra we think did a diff from what was observed dragging it off the track.

sweet man, i only saw you guys do one run, good job. so that one was yours i was a little curios, cause when i saw the 12.5 run i thought, no he has faster times on toymods

yeah i figured it may have blown the diff.

now that i live close up here i am hell keen to get mine to the strip

Yeah I noticed the stands were rather empty on my last run. I pulled a BIG burnout on my last run to get some heat into the tyres. Seemed to work as I ran the 11.4 and pull a 1.587 60ft, my best time and 60ft to date, however had much lower stall speed and boost dialed up for that run.

Was bloody freezing...... I will be going again in 2 weeks at this stage as i will be up at the winternationals next week!

I was out there too not in a toyota though, i was in one of the many commodores.
Pretty happy with consistent 13.6 's all night not bad for the sensible family car
