Fuel filter, plugs, etc as well. I had a heap of shit come though the fuel filter in the rona and it hit a wall at like 3000rpm.
Hows it run before 4500rpm is it clean or does it hesitate as well.
If in doubt power out
if all else fails..
check spark plug, dizzy. leads, and yea the timing.. if you can (timing covers off) just check the cam gears are spot on...
Research has shown child in front seat causes accidents, accident in back seat causes child
shouldnt be the speed cut, mine isnt hooked up and it redlines at 7200 instead of 7700 or something.
replace your fuel filter, how does it run under 4500?
it runs ok up untill about 4500 it dose hesitate a bit it has new fuel filters the plugs are good ive cleaned the dizzy cap timming is 10btdc thats base timming with the pins shorted out i dont think it goes as well as it should just does not fell as free reving as it should. yea and cam timming is spot on
blocked exhaust?
id suggest cleaning up the earth where the igniter and coil is bolted to. Maybe even move them. get some sand paper and sand the bolting point to bare metal.
If you have a mate with a smallport, try swapping coils for a day and see if it goes away. I was having lots of hesitating issues and i changed the coil ( to another second hand one) and it went away. But i also moved it and cleaned up some earths.
cat converter is blocked?

Spectral with his Clubman and blacktop 4age had a similar problem, and it was blocked exhaust
