Default Apexi Power PC - 1JZ

Just wondering what people's opinions are on these units. I have looked at the Nengun website and there are models available for the JZX100 (VVTi), however I can't see any for a JZX81.

Will the one for the JZX100 be compatible with my JZX81? They seem like a really good price for what they can do, so I was considering getting one when I go single turbo (very very soon).

EDIT: Here is the link if anyone was wondering: http://www.nengun.com/apexi/power-fc-hand-controller

Power Fcs are a direct plug and play unit. As the ECU plugs for the VVTi 1j are different to the non-VVTi variant it wont work.

Have a look on eBay. Every now and again a 1j non-vvti spec power FC pops up for sale at a reasonable price

you will need a manual JZA70 AP Engineering PFC for your JZX81. Apexi didn't make powerfc's for the auto JZX81's.

    Gday,
just wondering if you could rewire a JZZ30 power FC to suit a JZA70 1jz?

yes you can, it's a lot of stuffing around.

I made a fields-type adapter harness for a JZX90/JZZ30 PFC to go on my manual JZX81

Thanks for the link, I wasn't aware a PFC and handcontroller for JZX100 would be so cheap
