Just caught up on this thread... if I'm allowed out, I'm there.Car is running ok, so I really don't have any excuses!

Just to repeat the sentiments, this will be a great event if we can get a good turn out. There are quite a few old school celica's around, so pull your fingers out, and join in the fun!

Hi,
I'll be coming also. Whether I'll be taking the RA25 or being a passenger is undecided as the old girl has a leaking brake resevoir pipe.
It's already stuffed up the paint in the engine bay.
I need to source a pipe, fit it, bleed the brakes and she should be right to go. I hope to have it done by the cruise date as I do like driving it and I'm sure she'd be a welcome addition to this cruise.

Ibz - the board is already planning a weekend away with the CCG guys in November i'm lead to believe, so there is your chance for a joint event
Also Ibz, with regards to the large number of events close together.... it really is difficult to attend everything. Most people do have a life/family/commitments outside of Toymods - i know because i am one of them. Its pretty hard for me to put time aside for so many events so close together, and it would be even harder for those with a family.
With that in mind, i find its far better to encourage and praise people for attending events... rather than complain about those who don't attend.
A positive attitude goes a LONG way - you've got a lot of energy and enthusiasm for getting some events going, i just dont want to see it misguided.
I'll see you on on the 29th July anyway.

Sorry guys but July is already a touchy month for me, The Toymods Dyno Day is on Kirsty's Birthday so instead of a day of sleep ins and spoiling she will be up at dawn and spending the day doing Toymods Shit, the wed after is the Bi-Annual Drags night and then the 28th is the weigh bridge Cruise thats been planned since March and is an official Toymods Cruise so I will be at that one. I would very much like to be at this Classic Celica Appreciation day but its just not fair on Kirsty or my Boys. If I asked I'd be allowed to go, but I won't be asking. I really do hope the Cruise turns out wel and look forward to seing the pics and hearingthe feedback form the rest of you guys. The biggest part I can play is helping promote the event and adding the Annual Classic Celica cruise to the official Toymods Calender. (which is already locked in for Sat 24th May 2008 and will be in Sydney so both ACT and Newcastle Celica Owners can attend. It will be the 4th Sat of May each Year)

Re page 1 quote (see my car for sure) that is a TA23 1GGTE.
As for the site have you thought of Bar beach car park it is about 2mins from the foresure and you could get 100 cars side by side 7days a week no probs.It has a good view to.
There is no BBQ though can slap one on my ute if need be just an idea.

Hey, my recruite is coming, his name is Jason, purple TA23 celica with 18R-G conversion and cream interior. He said he bought it from newcastle too. I tuned his solexs, but just gotta set his timing but he will be there.
Ill have to recruite that red 23 with coded bumpers on smithfield road and the red 72 in merrylands with a 13b like you said asap too.
spotted a blue 22 and a yellow 22 in concord, they will have to be recruited. Same with Bexley plates ATA22 or 0TA22
