    basically..
    someone somewhere has done it.

is it worth it? that is totally subjective to each person. if you want a supercharged motor, then sure, it's worth it

for setting up, either search usign google, or get corky bells "supercharged". it will tell you everything you should need to know..

can you do mechanical work yourself or will it be contracted out?

Yes its been done, first I know off was late 80's early 90's. don't remeber the dudes details but think I have the magazine article somewhere.

Tim Frost also did it and got a decent result all things considered. I didn't drive it so I can't comment and as for being worth while it depends what your after.

well the rolla is not going to be used as a daily so id like some thing abit different an fun for the weekends.

was going to be NA but now ive got my hands on an SC from a 4agze. so i thought i might as well use it.

eeek, in that case, just hand over your wallet and be happy with what you get

i think SC motors are great, but thats me. to get someone else to set it up for you will cost a penny. but it could be great experience doing most of it yourself and getting others to just machine parts for you.

what torque/boost/power are you thinking of? or id it just a matter of have SC, will attach to engine somehow...

is it EFI already? if not, that will be a MASSIVE help

If you have an 88260 or later 2TG with the 8.4:1 pistons, you could probably get away without changing the compression. If you plan to run a significant amount of boost then custom forgies are probably a good idea, as Riceburner suggested.

almost relevant due to the similarities of the 2 engines but there is a guy called bluewire here in adelaide who had a supercharged 18rgeu done for him
I remember reading somewhere on the old forums that it was done by fours'n'more here in adelaide.
If the 2tg is the same as the 18rg and the sc12 is the same as the sc14 only differing in capacities then the the costs associated to supercharge the 18rg would be close to equivalent for the 2tg
    info for you:

not too sure how much power etc i want just want a zippy little rolla.

its got the 9.8 pistons in it at the moment.

so forgies would be the best bet.

thanks guys for the help its much apreciated.
