Ok I'll be there, this appears to be turning into a farewell/impromptu meet.

What time do we start arriving at the Pub, by all accounts around 7pm seems feasable??

I'm picking Clint up at 5pm at the airport, so with traffic getting back to my place & a freshen up, I'll reckon we'll be there about midnight...

    7-7:30 sounds about right.

twas a great night by all, well for all but one when the interstate ring-in split his entire beer over Danny's girlfriend....
    He's still trying to apologise.
All night clint was saying, "its not supposed to be big night, Steve" so after we left the pub, went & checked out Stitt's crown, went to Thornleigh Maccas via Galston Gorge (where I sideswiped a wallaby )
Finally got to bed at 2am.
Up early this morning to get Clint to the airport. I got mixed up with Stitt's advice over how long it takes to get to the airport at what times (I'm blaming the amber liquid for that) meaning that Clint missed his flight by 5mins
After the airline wanted to charge him for a whole new ticket at $172, we decided to do a road trip instead, but issues with my Caldina's driveshafts meant I was comfortable with driving it for 8 hours at 100+km/h.
After a number of calls, ScreaminRolla agreed to swap cars for the day. So i've just home after basically 12 hours on the road today and a sub 4 hour trip from Tamworth to Blacktown.
Oh, and Dave, you AIN"T GETTING IT BACK The Rolla rocks!!!!!
At least I know why its so good on the Putty rd now.

Actually I wore most of it, and had the rank smelling jeans and shirt the next day to prove it! I am most appologetic to Amy for the incident, and I most certainly hope Danny has passed on my more sober appologies the next day?!?

No, it wasn't supposed to be a big night, but then again, I seem to have a habit when travelling - I have really good nights involving lots of alcohol fuelled leering in Sydney, and there's always a gangland killing when I arrive in Melbourne - so my record is still intact!

Many thanks to those who came down for a drink and bullshit, was good to catch up with those of you I've met before, and equally good to meet a few new faces too.

Major thanks to Screaminrolla/Dave for the car swap, and yes, it goes really well along Putty - even overtook an XR8 and then left him for dead!
