    Hi,

    it won't be oil pressure on the thermostat housing............

    From what i remember one is for the guage on the dash and one is for the computer. The other one then be used for a thermo fan.

    As Ben said, guage, ECU, and the other I think is for some emmissions stuff... not a thermo. You only need the first 2 (guage one will be to suit your guage... probably a standard 18R-C item, second will be to suit your ECU, check with the manufacturer instructions). A third could be used for a thermo, but 99% of modern aftermarket ECUs will do this for you.

    I'll go check my bolts, they have a 12mm head, and I think they are an M8 or M6, will check all that for you too.

    In the EFI thermo housing:

    GREEN = water temp signal for ECU
    BROWN = Cold start injector timer switch (not essential)
    Other = temp gauge.
    ...... butt scratcher?!

    OK, I lost my bolts too, so will need to get new ones.

    They are M8*1.25 thread, 12mm head, and the thermostat housing has a 52mm thickness, so my guess is you need 60mm shafts (you can have 45mm ish without thread quite happily).

    The 4th outlet on the thermostat housing is for a vacuum switch, not necessary when you have an aftermarket ECU.

    Hope this helps

    Don't suppose any of you folk would have part numbers for the bushes in the 18R* Dizzy? afaik, there should be two, one at the top, and one at the bottom...

    any info would be good, gonna have to replace mine, and if i can i'll buy them before having some made...

    Check Toyota, I believe they still have listings for the 18R's in 81 model RA40s. Either that, or you may wish to summon the powers of River's EPC

    Don't wory about those pistons there 18rc was going to use them in the 18rgte but now have forged pistons made.

    Looking into using the pump as a second pump for the 18rgte just not sure how i'll plumb it ito the system maybe using a spacer plate on the filter housing.

    Cheers
