    Default St165 Fcd

i'm trying to install an fcd on my 165 but i can;t find the 'PIM' wire on the ecu, my ecu pin out is different to anything i can find on the net. I can't find the turbo pressure sensor (TPS) under the bonnet anywhere either. Does anyone know of an ecu pinout for the jdm ecu, or just what wire i want? thanks.

you wont be able to install a FCD on the 165 motor as it runs its manifold pressure of the AFM and therefore the AFM needs to be removed in order to run higher boost, this has been covered before in the tech section, have a harder search

yeah see thats the wierd thing, that wiring diagram says there is a turbo pressure sensor on the 165, i assume its on the series 2's or somethings, i figured mine is different coz its japanese. can u actually remove the afm? i'll have to have a more of a read of stuff. Thanks for the help.

it would have a turbo pressure sensor, theres 2 hoses that come off the wastegate, 1goes to the turbo the other goes to that sensor i would imagine..... no you cant remove the afm without replacing it with something like a map sensor and you dont have an aftermarket ecu so you cant.

the other hose off the wastegate goes to the boost controller thing, it doesn;t sense pressure. So there is no way go past 12~ psi on the jdm 165?
