    Default 4WD OFFROAD Cruise!!!!!!

    Hey guys,

I was thinking, it's time for a cruise with a different twist...
And I may be setting a precendent here.
    BUT HERE GOES...
Since I don't have my cressida anymore (Damn BHG 7M POS).
I have been getting out in my 4WD alot more often. And loving it.

ALAS though, alot of my regular 4WDing crew are off the road getting mods and stuff,
    so,
I was wondering if any of you Toymodders would wanna head out on a bit of a 4WD trip?
I was thinking we could go for a drive say 1 - 1.5 hours out of Sydney?
I know ALOT of tracks we could drive, from basic stuff, to how crazy you wanna get! LOL
Plus it'd be a good way to meet you toymods people who are into 4WDing aswell.

Who's up for a bit of offroad action?
List up your "rig", what experience you have had 4WDing it, and what you wanna drive.
I'll put something together to suit. Open to everyone at this stage.

I have all the facilities to do a BBQ on the day, out on the trails,
so that is all good, maybe we can organise something here for eats?

    Cheers,
    Bart

what kind of 4WD'ing are you going to be doing? dirt road / firetrail, dedicated offroad track, rock-crawling, Stockton Beach, etc. sounds like this kind of cruise/bash is better suited to some of the more serious members of RAV4OZ.com. if I still had my (stock) RAV I'd probably even give you a hand organising it. but alas, it was a year ago (this week) that I sold that beast...

    good luck with it hey.

    Hey mate,

Bummer that you sold your truck dude.

I guess we will do whatever 4WDing the majority of people wanna do.
I can organise a "Hardcore" trip whenever I need to, and if that's what
the folks on here wanna do then that is cool,
but if people just wanna go easy on their trucks and do something a
little less vehicle damaging, or just wanna see what 4WDing is like,
then yeah something like Stocktons Beach would be great.

Invite is open to one and all. Regardless of experience or ability.
(I have all the gear to tow you out if you get stuck or in trouble)

if only you where in vic, all my mates have just sold there rigs or rolled them.

if you're ever in vic and wanna do some crazy hill climbs let me know

hill climbs are about all i can do know,
no water or mud V8 does not like anything wet,
no long trips V8 not reliable,
no long distance from servo V8 very thirsty,
no sand car will rust more and then i will never be able to get rid of it,

LOL! Whats this V8 in?? Landcruiser/Hilux?
Sounds like you need a 22R buddy!
But they are sh!t slow though in a 4WD with 35"s.
These are the trade offs I guess!
....1UZFE, now theres the best of both worlds.

If I am ever going down to Vic, I will PM you dude.
I have a few mates down there that tell me the Vic high country
is THE place to go. Ditto if you ever come up here let me know...thats
if the V8 and wallet will allow (with the price of bloody fuel these days)!

    Cheers mate,

    Toyota Landcruiser FJ60 1983
350 Chev standard (boat motor) about 150kw at the fly, torque ??? alot i think, does not want to stop when put under pressure.
its lifted about 7 TO 8 inches including 35 Baja Claws,

i would love to come to NSW and give somthing diffrent a go but i dont think the truck will make it, it just! makes it to work somtimes

If your ever down here we will have to try somthing crazy, maby Toolangi state forest or woods point. if your rig can hadle it, (might be the last time i see mine)
