cams can be done with a little mod.

If you are talking about parts like valves, retainers etc. then I got no idea. I have seen some US cars with 2jz intake valves and I think that is what requiem is planning on doing.

Sure am. I'd like to know if 2J valve stem seals are the valve dimentions are obviously th same at that top end. Is the part that they slip onto the head the same? Theres a few aftermarket options on stem seals for the 2J. Might just get some of both and check them agaist each other.

BTW retains can be assuming you are using the matching springs, although I'm not positive the springs are. HTH

I put aftermarket 2jz springs and retainers in my 1j .... straight fit

so i would assume the valve stems are the same diameter no idea on length

so as a point of interest who can list all the valve sizes for us to compare

1jz and both atmo and turbo 2j's

at a guess i would recon the 2j atmo would have the bigest combination?????

Check my other thread on 1JZ performance head build. I've got the 1J and 2J turbos, 2JZ atmo are apparently the same.

I wasn't positive on the springs, but if the springs fit the retainers that suit will I know that much.

And please leave some advice if you have any!
