With the onset of winter, you may find yourself reaching for the classy track pants and flano top option. Well, lets ditch those for some tshirts and shorts as we run around blasting each other into a laser engrossed oblivion.

Zone 3 is heaps of fun, going head to head or even in teams. There can be up to 3 teams all playing at the same time, with the aim of the game being to destroy the opposition bases, whilst shooting as many of your opponents as possible.

For those who don't know what zone 3 is all about, here is the blurb from their website:

The Ultimate Laser Game ...

Zone 3 is a laser tag game. Using state of the art computer controlled equipment you try to score points against your opponents using high tech lasers. You can deactivate other player's packs which will put them out of action for 10 seconds. You can also deactivate bases, in the arena for bonus points.

Zone 3 is played in our huge laser arena, filled with special lighting effects, great music and an eerie fog filled atmosphere.

Games can be played either solo or as teams. At the end of each game you receive a computer printed score sheet that will give you all the details of how successful you were in your mission!

Playing Zone 3 does not require any prior skills. All players receive a full briefing, explaining in detail how the game operates. During play an experience staff member will be in the arena close at hand, to help those who do not fully understand the system.

Footwear Rules: Enclosed shoes must be worn. No thongs or sandals permitted.

Some tips:

• Bring some change for water and mars bars, you will need to rehydrate for sure!
• Don't wear clothing that will glow under UV lights.
• Don't wear white shoes.
• Don't wear anything you don't want to smell. (yes, i know your sweat smells like freshly crushed roses.)
• Don't eat a big meal before coming along.
  

Cruise to venue: I will be at the homebush P6F carpark CLICK HERE FOR MAP at 7pm for the usual social gathering to talk about cars, latest projects, the nationals and the meaning of life. There will also be plenty of bonnet popping and mechanical inspections.

Yes it's the same venue.

The games are 15 minutes each and over all I'd expect it to take close to two hours for the evening.

Yes they have members discounts.

Yes I will definately be there. Last time I went I got my best score and most ever hits so it will be interesting to see if I can improve on that.
