Do the sr20's have a one way pressure releif on the oil squirters?

yeah, thats a good thought, if the relief valve was stuck the pressure at idle and low rpm would be almost non existant, but ok at higher rpm. Any idea how I can check the valve? I've never taken apart an oil pump before...
Should be a large bolt holding it in place. Either on the oil pump housing or oil filter housing.
