    Default T50 gearbox questions

    Are all the t50 gearbox's the same length?, just wondering if they changed over the various models they came out in?,

    i'm pretty sure they are the same length (correct me if i'm wrong) but there is a difference in splines.
    The output shaft on the jap spec is a 22 spline and is slightly thicker as opposed to the 20 spline aus spec

    negatory

    input splines are the same its the output that vary also the 22 spline box bearing retainers and seals are different to the earlier box, nothing a lathe and a bit of work cant sort out tho

    also the belhouseing are not the same, as in were the clutch fork goes, and the cluuutch slave cylinder mounts on different, then same have the mounts for the gear box a lil firther forward than others

    same length - but the early 20 spline ones had different shifter positions to the later ones

    hence why i said front seals and retainers arent the same, the clutch fork pivot and the slave positioning are ENTIRELY bellhousing related and have NOTHING to do with the gearbox

    of course bellhousings will differ from engine series eg t50 => T series (same as 1g ) and t50 => 4a, fuck even the jdm 4a bellhousing is different to the adm

    hurricane do you have any idea what you are talking about? cos ur post made very little sense and seemed to only say what i said in a less coherant manner
