Well I live 5 minutes away.

The roads are starting to dry out at the moment, but that's no guarantee its not going to rain again...

oh yeah, there's actually a new movie theater at Blacktown Westpoint now too. Might be a bit closer to relocate to at short notice.

    Alrighty then.

I will still go out to the drive ins and wait out the front on cricketers arm rd. (silver Kluger tonight). We can then agree as a group if we wish to stay at the drive-ins or move the outing to westpoint blacktown movies.

Westpoint is a good complex now,
It's a Hoyt's cinema and not as good (in my opinion) as Castle hill but it's all been done up with new screens and stuff.

Level 4 Westpoint... Parking straight on the roof is your best bet though as they close the carpark at certain times and you "may" get locked in

    Sorry We can't make it,
Harry is still sick so draging him out when it's wet is a bad Idea.
    See you all Monday

Yeah, that first movie, Hot Fuzz started out a bit slow, but got better towards the end. Then we switched fields & saw Deja Vu which was good, but as Glen said, took too much brain power for that time of night. Anyway, I'm off to bed, just got home & I'm stuffed.

We ended up going to the drive in's and as blake said only a few drops sprinkled down. Did have to use the wipers a few times though. Wasn't a huge turnout, wagonist turned up at the meet point but didnt stay for the movies and the other toymodders were Nicc and her boyfriend, poida and his girlfriend sarah (who have recently moved from SA - welcome) and myself with the lovely Teresa.

We saw Hot Fuzz and then switched fields to watch Deja Vu. Both movies were excellent, however the first half of Hot Fuzz was a tad slow and boring, but the second half makes up for it.

Sorry Blake didn't see you anywhere! We waited on the road out the front from 7.50 until almost movie time before moving in.

A little annoying with the rain falling just a little too constantly to be out of the car for a chat. Not to worry there is always the monthly meeting, so i'll see you guys there and at the next event on the 22nd April!

Hey guys, Good work organising the event. I haven't been to a drive in for years!

Yeah Hot Fuzz did take a while to get going, but i was in stitches when it did. Something about old people with guns and other ridiculous gun fights always makes me laugh.

    Cheers, Pete

Hey, speaking of having to use the wipers every now & then, my battery went dead! Haha. It's just as well those little rises are there, i just rolled off it & clutch started my car. It just got annoying having to turn the accessories on, then the wipers, then turn the reds off. Next time I'll just get over it.
