    Default 4AGE 20V -> Aftermarket coil

    Hi all,

    I'm considering sticking an aftermarket coil such as a MSD Blaster onto my 20V.

    Main problem is the plugs on the coil/dizzy lead... the 20V dizzy has a pin/clip type connector, as does the 20V coil. However 90% of aftermarket coils are the typical post setup.

    Does anyone make a coil lead with the Toyota clip-on on one end, and the "aftermarket" type on the other end?

    Cheers
    Spectral.

    You can get a coil lead made up pretty cheaply with the right connectors on each end. There's a place in Slacks Creek that does them on the spot, I'll see if I can find the company name.

    Thanks JP, that would be appreciated.

    Sideshow: The coil has some large question marks over its health. I can get the MSD Coil for about $70, and a new Toyota one is about double that (or $50 second hand).

    If a cheap lead/convertor was available, then the MSD coil makes sense, IMO.. may as well upgrade.
