    Default 20v headers for 16v?

looking for suggestions on set of extractors for 16v 4ages both small and big ports.

would the 20v stock headers be better than an after market set?

    suggestions for after market sets?

    with thanks

Most exhaust shops can advise you on whats available. I have a set of Hurricane ones which as far as i know are made by Liverpool exhaust. There are stacks of other brands around like genie etc that make 16v headers for both small and bigport but whether there is much difference im not sure.

As for turbo manifolds ebay has ones stating they are for 16v but they are for 16v. Should you choose to get some designed for a 20v you need to modify one of the holes AFAIK. This usually requires a couple of drill bits.

The 20v headers aren't actually that good (the lengths are dodgy and the collectors are a bit nasty). It's also very hard to find them with the downpipes...

The 20 valve headers/extractors from factory, really require wrapping, as they are very noisy ie. popping/rattling sound. Must be fairly thin walled) They spoil a very nice AE111, that I have in the garage.

    cheers Chuck.

The rwd manifolds on ebay are for 20v so im pretty sure if they are from the same seller they would be for 20v's too.
