SW20 Power Steering Rack

toyota in all their wisdom issued the MR2 bathurst to the local market without power steering, which works for some, but im getting a little sick of it.

now with the two locally delivered models, the bathurst and the GT, only the GT had power steering. Toyota never offered it as an option for the bathurst, and said it cant be fitted.

however over time i've come to believe that when toyota say something can't be done.. someone on here proves them wrong and does it.

so my question here is, does anyone know if the GT power steering rack can be transplanted into the bathurst and how much arsing around is involved? is it a) possible and b) how?

and furthermore has anyone done it? google comes up trumps for me..

yep, all fits. need steering column, related relays, computer and various bits of electrics

okay so literally everything bolts straight in?

Hmm another thing i've just thought of as well is, is the current 80A Alternator going to be sufficient?

I was under the impression N/A's and Turbos with Power Steering had 100A Alternators?
