    Default 2TG help required

    Gday all,

picked up a 2TGUE for a pretty dope price minus a couple of bits......

now my question is......can you run 3TGTE inlet and exhaust manifolds??

can you run 3TGTE efi and ecu??

    help is very much appreciated.....

    Cheers, Chris

no the inlet ports on the 3TG are almost paired, the 2TG ones are more or less evenly spaced. Not sure about the exhaust side, but I've got a feeling the 3TG has square exhaust ports and the 2TG has round ones, spacing is also likley to be different.

If you want to run 3TGTE stuff, buy a 3TGTE (they make more power, because of their larger displacement and that little snail sitting quietly by the side)

Grab some carbies, and a set of extractors and you'll have a tuff angry sounding motor.

why not buy a 3TGTE, WTF has one with a W58, and bell housing I was going to buy before I bought a complete car for $1600.

Cheaper than mucking about with a hybrid build
