You would think that But i removed the baffle's from the r/c when i modded my r/c's for the twin breather setup because i wanted to achieve the best possible flow ( breathing capacity ) . Even when running the 2bar of boost minimal ( almost no ) oil was pushed out the breather's - - so it can be done without baffles !

HOWEVER it is only now that i have the high lift cams in it that im am finding more oil than usual is being pushed out. I suspect this is because the cam profile is a lot bigger and when the cam is rotating it is flinging/ scooping up a larger amount of oil !!! and it is getting pushed out through the breathers.

I may end up putting baffle's back on the r/c's to stop this. They will be nothing like the factory setup as i dont think they pass enough air quickly enough to effectivley let the engine breath in my situation

All in all you will prob find that on a mildly worked engine you will get away with running no baffles.

One more tip i just thought of is that if you drill a hole in the back of the exhaust R/c you will find that there is webbing on the inside of the R/c.
if you puy a breather here you will have NO probs at all as the webbing acts as a baffle to stop the oil and the hole / breather is past the end of the cam so no oil is splashing up anyway !!!!
    Hope that makes sense

I used to have a 90 deg 1/2 inch fitting here for a breather hose. -- i just drilled a hole tapped the thread and screwed it straight in !!! I think this is exactly what you need to do !!

shame the breathers are just for show and way over kill!hehehehe
hehehe tell me why the leads need the extra insulation cause we in racing dont need them?
But, if i was to have a nice engine bay, id be very very proud to have a bay that looked as nice and clean! its a credit to your work and time mate!!

    Hi,
Here are the pics of the new inlet, and where it hits the breather.

I guess the breathers are a little over kill but i used to have a breathing issue with the engine when running 30 psi.(not any more ! ) I wanted to fix the prob once and for all and ensure that if / one day when i build a real 4agte and really run some BOOST 40+ psi that i would not have to worry !! -- So thats the reason for that one.

As for the insulation around the leads i am lead to believe that with the F#$KN high voltages of a CDI you can get some interference / induce voltage with other wires so i opted to fix a possible problem before it occured on that.

You may be able to shed some light on that one ???

I'd go for a useful air filter, rather then 90% of the useless colorful crap!
