Yes the RA60 hatch will fit on the back of an MA61..
As for the shafts... RA60s are Live Axle (4 link suspension) and MA61s are CV Joints (IRS setup) so the short answer is... No...
Cheers.
Hi
Does anyone know if the hatch from a RA60 will fit onto a MA61?
Also - would the drive shafts (diff to wheel) fit from the RA60 onto the MA61?
The list maintained by Negative Boost says that _most_ parts are interchangeable.
Thanks

Can't afford it?... Don't buy/drive it...

Thanks - one straight and rust free hatch for me
cheers
I currently have an RA60 hatch on my MA61. Apart from the badges and the missing picnic table it's identical in every way.

Hmm - I like my Picnic table - how hard is it to drill a hole through the glass to reattach it?
Or does the RA60 hatch even have the bolt holes on the side to take the spoiler?
drill holes in the hatch for the sunshade, and swap the glass.... unless you have a very slow drill with the right tip (carbide or ceramic... cant remember) you will smash the glass, or crack or whatever.
swap the glasses back? or are they different?

It's actually the glass that I'm after - mine has no rear de-mister on it anymore. Someone in the past has had tint on it, and ripped it off - taking most of the demister with it.
I've rung a few auto shops, who only sell little repair bottles - and don't sell replacement demisters anymore.
need to find someone with a rusty ma61 hatch and just take the glass. take a multimeter with you to ensure continuity of the demister.
Sure do - but I've already had one sheet of glass broken by a shipping company - and finding a rusty MA61 hatch closer to home is proving difficult - hence the questions about a RA60 one.
No picnic table FTW. IMO it looks better once you get used to it.
Shame you're not in Qld, I have a spare rusty MA61 hatch complete with picnic table and working demister.
