Default Trying to wire up solenoid valve to boost controller?

    Hey everyone,
    I had a little idea,
My main problem is, i have a boost controller which is just a T shape one from turbosmart, its their basic model with a dial at the top and 2 connectors on either side

I wanted to use an electronic solenoid valve from jaycar as pictured below to make the system on my st162 (3sgte engine, gen 1) able to have stock boost and a predefined boost with the flick of a button, its about $160 for the single stage turbo smart model so i thought i'll try make do with what i had.
The main principle was to have a T piece from the turbo to split and 1 of the hoses will go to my solinoid valve and then connect upto my boost controller, after this it would then go into another T piece and go to where my original system went.

    I have a picture below
These cars must have a factory boost controller so i'm guessing it goes to that and then to the wastegate actuator.

Sorry about my crude pictures, I am trying to explain myself as much as possible.

here is what the solinoid looks like

And this is what my boost controller looks like,

    Thanks
    Adrian

Just to mention, the controller is there to relief pressure of say 10psi, and the solinoid in front is to stop any pressure getting to the actual controller to relief and raise up the boost.

The system down the bottom is there to bypass the controller and run stock boost!

have the solenoid inline direct to the wastegate, and the boost controller in parrallel with the solenoid.

That way, when solenoid open, the gate sees direct to the pressure source, and when it is shut, it sees what ever the the boost controller lets it see.

Is it possible you could possibly draw it?
I'm a bit slow in terms of understanding what you wrote when it comes to putting it down on paper

    Lance I really appreciate this,
I have been following ur thread, WELL DONE!

have you disabled the stock boost control yet? (done by plugging the vacuum line heading into the engine from the wastegate)

Would u possibly be able to post the link to the file as well. it came out a bit small
    But i get the principle,

I wasn't able to disconnect the stock one, wasn't sure how!

The system you drew up would vent out from the boost controller when the solinoid was enabled,

I need the factory boost controller to use as the CLOSED off system,
The solenoid would close up on one point and force the vacum through the boost controller which is set to say 10psi. with it open i wanted it to say take another path and bypass the controller completely!
