The cheapest with good results is the 2tg or 2tgeu. Plenty of benifits of doing this one. Little or no modification to the rest of the drivetrain is required. A brake upgrade isn't fully neccesary if you have decent pads - Although would be nice. Can get away with this without engineering. Is a relatively cheap option. Run on twin carbs(solexes, webbers, dellortos. 40,44,45 mms) or the 2tgeu efi setup.

Next up is the 3tgte. Will require a stronger gearbox, some modification of the engine crossmember, a brake upgrade, fuel system upgrade(High pressure pump, efi hoses, optional surge tank, etc).

    Then there's the 4agze option...

For an endless wealth of information use the search function. Spend a few days reading other people's experiences then post when you are absolutely stuck.

Finally, for 3k you will be doing all the work yourself.
