due to a saddening event last night , which i dont really want to talk about , there may be a chance i can get to the nats ..

as bad as that sounds - i need some joy in my life atm - and having lost my other passion last night, i have to fill that void with something equally strong - being the nats or something similar to get me happy again

If in doubt you're better off booking then cancelling if you don't go. You would need to ask the Matilda but I think they require 48 hours notice at easter. In any case I'm sure someone else would take the room.

mate im aiming for it - trsut me - i have my co driver - all seems sweet - just to to secure the time off and hope the Gt4 doesnt break anything in a hurry ..

Not going to do the drags this year - being so far from home i dont want it to break but i may try to get a number for it locally before hand - to give an estimate of what it can do over a full quarter mile

mainly aiming on having her looking sweet , and running reliably for the nats - anything else is a bonus at this stage ..

I just realised, my Supra is scheduled to come off the road in the coming weeks for Project 6-speed... which leaves me less than 3 months to hack the floorpan to pieces and get it all back together and reliable enough to drive to Dubbo. Previous experience tells me it's going to be a close call!

    Hi,

Due to family/Easter commitments I can attend the Show & Shine. So, is it possible to come up on the Friday, do the S & S, then depart back to Sydney on the Saturday arvo?

How long does it take to drive from Sydney to Dubbo?

    hey river,

from SAS it took me around 4-4.5hrs...and that was going the slightly shorter (and more rough) way from orange through stuart town.

On the highway prolly only adds 10-15mins anyways

    Hi,

Thanks mate. I'll probably take about 6 hours 'cos I never go over 80kph.

    Hi,

Yeah. Should be good. Check out some cool Toyotas, piss in the pocket of each other, sink some of the amber fluid, have some good food and company. Should be a good turn out.

I'm looking forward to meeting some of your interstate guys and checking out your rides. I wanna see the "mongrel" up close and personal.
