MA45 ran a W50 box, but then again it might be a P51. No idea and was never really fussed here, but might be worth investigating for you??

MOST OBVIOUS SIGN.
The main bearing in the centre plate on a P51 is held in by four bolts.
The main bearing on a W50 is held in by a circlip.
SEEING IT THROUGH THE OIL HOLE IS IMPOSSIBLE.
if you have a skinny long finger and you crook it around to the plate you might just feel the top right bolt its 12mm.
maybe from the drain hole is OK I dont know?
