    Default Efi 18rg

    can I put the EFI manifold on ANY series 18rg head?
    and how would the cams etc have any effect ?

    If you fit the EFI manifold to a non-EFI head then you will need to notch out the top of the intake port so that the injector spray doesnt impinge on the head.

    Are you asking how the cams would effect the EFI?

    The cam profile will affect the engine in virtually the same way whether it is EFI or non-EFI. The cam profile will affect how you tune your ECU, assuming you are using an aftermarket ECU.

    At a guess if the cams are close to stock then the OEM ECU should handle it ok. If you went to 304/304 then you will have a big problem on the OEM ECU
