Fired it up with new turbo today, tested the amount of oil flow to turbo per minute and its twice the recomended rate, so will be adding a restrictor to feed line tommorrow.
That's pretty impressive.

goddamn thats some neat welding for a mig!
mad props!
also have you got an alloy steering shaft spacer for the silvia?
definitiely invest in one...made such a difference on mine...
also...
you will wanna invest in:
Rear Toe Arms
Rear Camber Arms
Rear Traction Rods
all of that shit really stiffens up the rear of the car and gives you a crapload of adjustment
usually around $150-$175 for each pair of items
cant spend money better on nissans IMO

Booked in for dyno tuesday, cant wait!
dyno today found a gremlin, have pulled off turbo. manifold and wastegate, after looking at wastegate pipe off manifold the hole that has been cut is only 32-35 mm diameter and isn't flowing enough gases to control boost.
When car was on dyno it held 10 psi until getting over 4000rpm, then boost climbed as rpm rose, the tunner run it up to 5500rpm and it was up to 17psi, after playing with boost controller and waste gate boost lines he stoped the tune.
I was using a 50mm hks copy waste gate but am concerned about this so have got a turbosmart 45mm progate coming which will fit with twin feeds off manifold.
It made 240 rwkw @5500rpm, 17 psi before he shut it down.
Standard motor with standard injectors, he did note the injectore wearnt at 100% duty cycle, which is a good thing.
Beware of ebay manifolds with this fault, mine come from monster performance, you do get what you pay for, in my case i paid $153 delivered so am happy to modify it!
That will fix the boost control issues!!
Am also changing exhaust housing from 1.06 to 0.82 to get the boost on earlier
hey dude, make sure you put some ultra blue on both Vbands...they leak like a siv sometimes

runs completed on stock engine, injectors and feul reg.
black run 16 psi
red run 9psi
16psi run had injectors at 95% duty
I only plan on running 9psi to get a feel of car for start
Hmmm, the smooth 2J power...
