1g-gte front winged sump into TA23 Sway Bar issues!

Before u say search, I have been and done many times to no avail. Plently on 1g into ra23, but not on Ta23 with front sump.

Engine: 1g-gte air air cooler with winged front sump
Car: Ra23 with TA23 front X-member (basically a TA23 now)

Apparenly the front sump 1g was meant to be almost bolt in with the Ta23 xmember and correct mounts. The problem I have is the front sump fouls the front sway bar by about an
inch. I'm confused to as it was meant to fit! (famous last words) Am I missing something obvious, or is it true I will need a custom/modified front sway bar to make things work!

I have no mounts at all installed on the engine, just test fitted with engine hoist and jack. But it definatly wont fit unless the sway bar is removed.

Same problem with my conversion (1G into RT142 Corona)

I took the sway bar off to fit the engine but I'll be going to thicker custom made swaybar anyway.

PM pube on here. He did the same convo I'm doing.
