Do these engines have a baffle that bolts on befor the sump?
If not then my engine should be ready by 2morow arvo Then its going in Monday
Changed my waste gate spring to a 14psi spring instead of the crappy 7psi spring i was using.
Going with a red theme...............All shall be reviled once its back in and running

I got my cometic hg, arp studs 2day from paradise and ill be ordering forged piston n rod combo from atomic racing this week.

Did you do anything to your cams? Is it worth getting the valve train kit?

There good if your after a revy engine combined with a alloy fly wheel. Plus with the ammount of cash i was throwing at the engine $2000 seemed like a drop in the ocean lol
Mechanic just msg me and said he was having problems fitting the oversize valves

What clutch did you go for tweak? Mine only got replaced by toyota about 2 months ago

Iam running a custom 5 puck cushion center clutch from NPC. And that lasted about 5 months use.
The only real decent clutch is to get a twin plate setup. Even so with using the alloy fly wheel is have a wear ring that needs replacing every 50,000km lol. I think by then i'll either wack in a auto or wack in a r145 gearbox

I have my engine. dont most of the small things while its out on the floor. Gotta buy a clutch alignment tool 2morow fit the clutch and put the bastard back in and continue with fitting all the fiddly crap.
Hope to start it up 2morow arvo. God help anything with in a 100m radius of me if it does not start first go cos iam gonna go nuts iam that stressed out.
I hope to make the news " Man successfully inserts bent conrod into next door neighbor's nose after spending 2 days fitting his engine only to find out it wont fire"

Last fit or rage involved me with my previous car after waiting 2 weeks fro Toyota to deliver me a speedo cable from japan that didn't fit............ it cost me $150. well it cost me $400 by the end of the day with 2 panels of colour bond fence.
