Thanks giant tomato, even in Japanese, it looks like a better bet than using a digram for a 2jz supra, which I'm doing now.

first pic, the ECU with the plug ins from the engine, these I should not have a problem with, it's the other two out plugs, I got it in a half cut(auto) so most of the pins will be for throttle control,ABS,don't need, etc, some will be for auto and sensors (needed)2nd pic is of two plug ins that I need the pin code for.

They look identical to the JZZ30/JZX90 diagrams.

Check a few earth pins, and the colours of the major ones to see if its the same.

Thats it Graham, exactly what I needed, didn't even have to learn Dutch, the tech section of that site would be of use to anyone doing a 1JZ into a 7M supra the guy who picked apart the looms wrote it up real well. www.supras.nl
Thanks to everyone that provided links and info, will post how it works, and any weirdness.

Back again Graham,I knew it, too good to be true, The ecu has the same number of pins on plugs,BUT... mine uses different pins, including a lot that are blank on yours, don't have a lot of your colour traces, have some you don't have.Check the part number , I think it will be different, Different computers for manual and auto, mine an auto, what was yours?
Hopefully Toyota kept the same wire codes from model to model,I will check your destinations of wires with a Supra and soarer diagram, if consistant it will help,( and I'll stay mad for a little longer- I hate wiring)

Yes, the ECU's have different part numbers. Mine was an auto that I changed to manual.
I was didn't use the standard ECU on mine - used an Autronic instead.
Good luck with tracing the wires.

splatt, have you checked that the pins are labelled inside the computer? Give it a try, if not I have this which might be of some help.

    buccy

That's my list that I typed in above. Apparently the Chaser version is slightly different from that one.

take the cover off the ECu, and all the pins inside are labelled on the curcuit board.

My mates 4AGE ecu had this, as we had 2 ecu pinout diagrams that both said different things, so we opened it up and found the right one.

Hmm that is strange, mine is a chaser and that list was correct for me. Splatt sorry to ask a stupid qestion but you are looking at the pins when the plugs are disconected from the computer? I ask this because I had one guy counting the pins from the back and wondering why nothing seemed to match up.
