4A S/T wiring questions...

I have got to get this thing running, proably will be comming with a few questions along the line just need one answered now. can i completely remove the diagnostic connector on the wiring harness or is this needed in someway to run? I am thinking that i do not as all the wires dead end there and would only be useful if i had a diagnostic machine to hook into it but i want to be sure before i start hacking it off.

I have previously wired up computers without thier diagnostic ports with no ill effect. These were however older genration computers, and in reality the diagnostic port is always handy to have when you have problems - and yes, you will have problems - at sometime!
