*** Toyotafest Week: Lowenbrau Dinner and Beer - Monday 2nd Oct***

So people have traveled far and wide to hit the east coast, some seeing sydney for the first time, standing around talking cars and enjoying a day in the sun at toyotafest. Well, that may be all over, but we don't want to stop the mindless chat and the drinking just yet.

So dust off your drinking shoes, (especially those from interstate) we have some Lowenbrau and meat to consume!!!! This is the home of the 1L stein!!

It's always a fun evening at the brau, plenty of singalong songs and even a beer drinking competition, the staff really get everyone involved and the food is FANTASTIC, not to mention the beer!

When: Monday 2nd October @ 8pm.
Where: Lowenbrau Keller, Argyle st, The Rocks. (Entrance on Playfair st mall)
Why: Beer and massif schnitzels .....so no driving.
Cost: $39 per head for set menu and $12 for a 1L beer.

I have made a token booking for 20 people for the evening. Unlike other restaurants, the Lowenbrau requires an upfront deposit of $20 per person to confirm bookings for groups.

just go to scruffy's or cheers. I know last time I made it into cheers I definitely shouldn't have been let in... I was in tehre for maybe 5 minutes before I wandered into the bathrooms, spewed, then passed out in the cubicle for 30 minutes... although that could have been the rank atmosphere (or the countless pints of beer)

edit2: and if we get a choice, I want schitzel (I know some places just serve equal numbers of both mains and you have to fight over who gets what)
