River - this is good info and nice work!
    YelloRolla's KE20 1/4mi = 11.32 @ 119mph @ 22psi on slicks
    12.44 @ 113 mph on 165 wide street tyres
210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.

    Hi,

River, keep trying, this should definately be a FAQ!! Its pretty much half a manual!

Got a Q for you, my Toyota "T Series Engine Repair Manual" doesnt tell me what the oil pressure is supposed to be for a 2T-G.... does yours?

    Hi,

Yes little lady, my manual tells me everything!!!!

Oil temp should be 100 degrees Cels
Oil specification should be SAE No.30

Oil pressure @ idle speed should be more than 0.8kg/cm2 (1.1 psi)
    Oil pressure @ 2000rpm should be 3.5 - 4.6kg/cm2 (49.8 - 64.0 psi)
    Oil pressure @ 5000rpm should be 4.0 - 5.0kg/cm2 (56.9 - 71.1psi)

I have other info, regarding releif valve tension pump type, etc. So, if you want that I can post it also.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks river!! You're the best!!

I tested it last night at 3000rpm and got just over 50psi, so I should be in tolerence, but I will re-check it tonight now that I have the tolerance for idle pressure - this is the one that may be of concern.
