Hey man, ive got a TS2CD on my supra at the moment. its got the 7mgte flyweel as ive been using it on my 7m motor. but im swapping to a 2jz very soon and i'd like to keep this clutch as i love it. what would a new flywheel set me back ? i'd be looking at the 1jz TS2CD as its got the same bolt pattern for the 2j and it should be the right flywheel for connecting my R154 to the 2j.

HI Byteme, soory for the slow response.

A TS2CD flywheel will set you back $675.00 in GST.

It would have to be specially orderd and as such, requires full payment up front.

You can contact my on (02) 98981655 or email: [email protected] for further information.

    Cheers

Hi guys, OS Giken adjustable cam gears are now in stock for 1JZ and 2JZ engines. See the official release below:

Otomoto is pleased to announce the addition of Toyota 1JZ-GTE and 2JZ-GTE adjustable cam gears to the existing range. As the laser-etched logo suggests, these gears are made exclusively for Otomoto by OS Giken. Made from hard-anodised duralumin for superior durability, there is no better cam gear on the market. Other models include Nissan SR20 and RB-series engines. The new 1JZ/2JZ cam gears are priced at $199.00 each.

OS Giken adjustable cam gears are one of the best-value modifications you can make to your engine. Even a single adjustable cam gear (on the exhaust side) can give a significant power improvement across the rev range.

    * note Toyota VVT-i engines can only use the OS Giken gear on the exhaust side

For more information or to place an order, contact Otomoto on (02) 98981655 or check them out on the website at www.otomoto.com.au

    Hey Grant,

I'm looking at buying a twin-plate in the near future, something able to hold ~400rwkw in a 1500kg car. What would you recommend? (and price?)
I'll probably pick it up from you, or get Linden to, as he'll be doing the work.

Hi Greg, the clutch for you is a TR2CD. Its the toughest of the twin plates for a 2JZ. We rate them at around 600hp at the flywheel which is borderline with the power you mentioned.

I have a TS2CD (the only difference bewteen the two is mine has a pressed steel cover plate the TR2CD has a billet cover and more claming force) behind mine and i have 402kW at the tyres. No slip, nice to drive and happy days.

    Price is $2850.

    We have them in stock.

    Cheers

Hi Semus, Os Giken rate the TS2A for 380hp at the flywheel. From our experience they will hold more but the 380hp is the reliable ball park.

HI EldarO, we don't stock OS Giken LSD diffs anymore as they were too expensive.

We now stock the Tomei Technical Trax 2-way LSD diffs as they are far more affordable.

    For a JZZ30 they retail for $1604.49.

    We have them in stock.

    Hi Grant,

What is the cost of a TS2CD clutch kit including the flywheel and push-pull converter for an MA70 supra? (7MGTE and R154 box)

    Cheers

Hi Mike, all OS Giken clutchs come with a Chrome Moly flywheel.

A TS2CD including movement kit to suit 7M-GTE and R154 retails for $2700.

If the budget doesn't stretch to new, i know of a couple of second hand ones that would suit a rebuild.
