Hey guys,
The date for the next meet will be the 26th of Febuary 2006. I'll post more details as I organise them, but be prepared for a lengthy cruise.
We'll plan to meet at Lormier Street, Pier 35, Port Melbourne.
This will be our second anniversary, so it'd be nice to have a big turnout to come and celebrate!
More details in the next couple of days...![]()

Now this is great and I should be coming along to it. We'll make sure the TCCA guys can bring their club plated cars along by posting it in our newsletter.

do we have to have nice cars to come? and be classic celica club members?
my and my old man have 1st gen TA22s his is a 71 mines a 74 both externaly look very nice altough i will admit his interior is nicer than mine (i gotta reskin the dash, and get a new instrument pannel maybe also some new seats)
As long as it's a Celica, you are welcome!
I turned up to our first meet in a TA22 with multi-coloured panels, the doors, one guard, boot lid and bonnet were red and the rest was yellow - I parked it in Maccas a few times for a laugh! It could have been Ronald McDonalds car...lol
If you are passionate about owning a Celica, then please come down, we'd love to have you along!
Hope to see you there!!

Ok how do I join this club lol? And what is classic....25 years+?
Count me in, registration of car pending.
Also im going to assume a "Celica XX" (MA45 Celica Supra) counts as a celica? or does i t have to be purely Celica?
Hey gang Just letting you know that this event is now in the TCCA club magazine to help with some more attendance, not sure how many will show, but it's in anyway.
Thanks Wombat!
Jimmy - You are more than welcome. We cater for anyone, but classic is termed as 25 years or older. Anything pre 1981 is considered classic...but you are more than welcome to attend and be a member, we don't discriminate!

Meh. Mine's not old enough, but like Jimmy there, its still a celica supra. So a celica in some sense. I'll pop around and look see like I normally do![]()
SHE LIVES!

All right, count me in. I am there, as will my celica supra. Should well and truly be registered by then, w00t.
Catch ya
Anyone is welcome! Just think, it'll be classic soon enough! hehe
This is the planned route...
The meet point as previously arranged is Lorimer Street, Port Melbourne @ 10am. We'll arrange there, wait for people to arrive, etc and head off at 11.30am. From Lorimer Street, access to the West Gate FWY is pretty easy. We'll head back up Lorimer Street towards the city and make a right hand turn onto Docklands Hwy which has an on-ramp to the Freeway. From there, we'll head down the West Gate FWY until we reach the Princes FWY. Travel down the freeway for about 40 minutes or so until we reach Geelong. When in Geelong, we'll have a short stop over at the Corio KFC which is the first KFC on the left as we enter Geelong.
After the stop over (arrival time should be about 12.30-12.45), we'll continue down the Princes Hwy through Geelong until we run into the Surf Coast Hwy. The Surf Coast Hwy runs for a little bit, then we'll turn onto the Great Ocean Road. From there, we'll head down into Anglesea.
When we reach Anglesea, on the left there is a rather large park called "Lions Park". There is BBQ facilities here as well as toilets, etc. This will be our destination. Food and drinks should be avaliable down here if you don't want to bring your own food for the BBQ.
I haven't been down this way for a while, can anyone see any major problems with the route? Road closures, etc?
If not, this will be the route we'll be taking. Looking forward to suggestions, comments, etc.
