    Default FS: LADYSX - AE93 Corolla SX (Hatch) - 4AGZE with SC14

Ok here is the long list of details on the car. Feel free to pm me if by some chance I have missed something! Its a little hard to remember everything that has been done to the car is the 9 years that my wife has owned it.
Reason for selling the car is quite simple - we have achieved our goal with it. We have gone as far as we can with the car, and am eager to move onto another project.

For Sale: 1990 Toyota Corolla AE93 SX hatch “LadySX”
    Registered until 10th Feb, 2009

JDM AE111 “Superstrut” brakes (front & rear) & with new slotted rotors
Custom King springs made especially to suit wheels – once off, made to order.
    Whiteline swaybars (front & rear)

Engine rebuilt 4,000k ago by meridian motorsport (arp bolts, tri-metal bearings, new crank, oil pump, thermostat, water pump, race ported head, match ported manifolds, full dynamic balance, 240 duration cams fitted) – over $4000 spent on this alone!!

To be featured in upcoming edition of HOT4’s magazine
Personalised plates not included in sale
    No test pilots please
Can organise shipping interstate if required
Over $35,000 spent on this car (…well I stopped adding it up at $35K, and that was before the engine rebuild!!!)
    $10,500 firm

I have lots and lots of pictures of the car, but it would not be practical (nor allowed) to post all of them on here. The two that I have posted here were taken a few months ago (the car has driven all of 300km since the photo's were taken).
So if you want to see any other pics, please let me know.

Oh, and before the "I can buy one of these for $3K" comments start.....please save your fingers the energy. I am fully aware that there are bargains out there to be had, but I am also a firm believer that you get what you pay for. This car is currently insured for well over the price I am selling it for, and would cost A LOT more to build from scratch.

Please PM me to organise a viewing of the car.

    Hi Joel

Yep, she is finally up for sale. It was a very hard decision to make, but in reality, the car is a garage queen these days and only gets driven to work maybe once a month or so.

The next car on the list is still being sought....probably a Starlet turbo powered Mini. I would also like to build a Paseo with a 3sgte...but we will see what pops up for sale. In the meantime I have a standard Seca SX that is my daily driver.

What do you mean by successful conversion?

I know of at least 5 other 4agze's running sc14's off the top of my head in Australia

Sounds like my mr2, it sits in the garage and hardly moves. I guess if i sold the corolla i'd have more money for it but i can't bare to sell that!
The turbo mini would be cool as would the Paseo!

What I meant by successful was the successful conversion into an ae93 Hatch. I am aware that there have been several sc14's fitted to ae86's, Seca's and the like.

At the time that we did the conversion, it was the only one we knew about that had been a successful fit into an ae93 hatch.
We are aware that it has been fitted to several rwd setup's, and we know of one in Perth that had been fitted to a Seca (although from memory that one didnt run properly ??).
It took quite a lot of work to get it to fit properly without hitting against the firewall, as the SC14 is obviously a physically larger unit that the sc12.
It was one of the most instantly gratifying conversions on the car though - I have never had so much fun driving a car before!

I have had several enquiries, but none of them with mney to put on the table.

Come on everyone....this car is selling for a bargain price!
As several people have mentioned, this car is a quality rebuild! A lot of attention to detail has been put into the final result, and the new owner will not be disappointed with their new car!

All serious offers will be considered, as the car is only driven once a fortnight or so, and is very much a garage queen. It would be nice to have some space to get stuck into a new project.

Very nice car ( although I prefer the secas) but you will find, finding someone willing to spend 10k on a rolla is a huge challenge, as I just sold my ST185 GT4 celica with over 15k's worth of mods for 9k and it was in immaculate condition.

I'd personally keep the car, as no one bar yourself appreciates the work gone into this type of conversion, all the skinned knuckles etc.

Hope it goes to someone who won't crash the little torque monster.
