    Default Aftermarket ECU for 1GGTE

I think I have fryed my ECU so I'm after another unit to suit. I've searched the forums and have that a few members use the Microtech LT's with good results. I was after about 200Kw's maybe more at the wheels. Are these hard to wire up to the standard loom?

Which one would suit me best?

It depends on your budget really. Do you mean you fried the standard computer?

For a cheap ECU I'd pick an EMS over a Microtech, partly because they're not car-specific (you can stick an EMS on any car without sending it back), and partly because there's good support for them where I live. For a shiny new one, expect to pay 1050-1400, depending on spec and what you want...

Basically any ECU will make the power you want, it's just the driveabilty, fuel consumption etc that gets better with the more $$$y ones. A MoTeC or Autronic will be awesome, but they're expensive (worth the extra 1k or so though)

Wiring will be pretty similar between all the ECUs, if you're not confident with it, pay someone who is

There's also small-production ECUs like the Adaptronic (which I keep hearing great things about) and the MegaSquirt...
