    Finally finally FINALLY figure it out!!!

    Went back to basic again Jon like you said and it turned out my "new" ignition leads were the causing.

    One had a micro hairline crack in one of the rubber boots. Pretty much un noticable by eye.

    Clickings near enough gone (hks exh cam had one clearances at 0.30mm - within factory spec but not hks spec).

    Yet again.... THANKS for every responce and all the invauable knowledge/help you guys have given me. Jondee you tha man!

    You did well to stay with this project. I know a lot of guys would have burned the bastard to the ground a long time ago !!! So I hope you will now get to do some driving without having to check that you have the towing service number on your phone

    PS: If your plug wires only measure around 10 Ohms, then they don't contain a resistor. You should use a resistor type plug to avoid any electrical noise/interference issues.
