Default Brake Master Cylinder Issues TA22

    Hi Everyone,

i have had a look through the forum and have not been able to find any information on the MC conversion i have under gone.

My original one had the seal let go, so i replaced it with a newer Camry MC which bolted straight up just had to manipulate the lines to fit.
Now i am having the issue of the Brake pedal falling to half way then it because ridiculously hard and does not lock up the brakes as if it where original.
i have checked the vacuum of the booster seems to be OK and is the same as my other TA22. i have bled the brakes correctly.

any suggestions on what to look for?

Sounds like the booster. If you pull the vacuum hose off, do you hear air rushing in the booster? There should be a check valve in the system to maintain vacuum. Davew7

Yes i have tried that and i cannot hear any air rushing out of the booster, but when the pedal is pressed i can hear air escaping from somewhere. not sure where though.
