May be 1/8 NPT . What is the tpi?
Hi
I have a damaged thread in my 18RG Yamaha head and need to re-tap the 9.5 mm hole with the correct thread that suits the OIL NOZZEL.
Can anyone tell me the thread dimensions please?
The Nozzel measures 9.5MM and might be BSP 1/8th
It should be tapered gas thread but its not quite like the fittings in the inlet manifold that feed the power brake booster, nearly but not quite.
I think they are 9mm not 9.5.
a 10mm x 1.0 fine sort of seems close but the thread on Nozzel is tapered 0.5mm
But I need the thread dimensions so I can buy a tap if such a tap exists.
Going to see plumber so see if any gas thread tapered fits
The part number for the nozzel is 90072-73103 and available from Japan for about $10 plus postage.
Has anyone fabricated one ??
What size holes di you drill?
Thanks for looking

Jealousy is a curse
So Thread pitch gauge will not solve this question?
