Hi guys,

I recently just purchased my first JZX100.

Now, I was wondering if you guys can shine some light onto me.

Problem #1: From standstill, if I let go of the clutch normally, and I don't push the shifter (like literally push it till it starts moving), it'll pop back in neutral. So what I do is baby the clutch, push the shifter as hard as I can into first till it starts moving. When I give it on first, it doesn't pop out of gear at all, just from standstill.

Problem #2: Shifting from 3rd to 4th when just cruising, sometimes when you thought its in gear, you let go of the clutch then it crunches and then you have to put it back in. When it does that, sometimes the shifter can feel very stiff (hard?) to put in 3rd or 4th. Sometimes if I put it back to neutral and shake the shifter (left to right) it goes back to feeling ok.

Done a little bit of research and came out with the possibility of bent fork selector or a syncro?

I just don't want to take the box out change the fork selector then finding out that it wasn't the issue, or vise versa.

Thank you guys in advance
