Default RA23 Project Need Info Help

So looking to buy an RA23 due to the fact RA28s are non existant, which is really annoying.

Anyhow, looking to put a 428 Cobra Jet in her, so cause I am putting this big engine in, was thinking I am going to need some serious shoes on the car, now as looking to stay R15 but was thinking im going to need at least 15x8s on the rear, just wondering what offsets will be required to operate without issues, slight out-hang does not matter I can solve that with wheel flares. Also wondering what will be best for the front as i still want to try and stay with wide tires but want to avoid issues of the tires rubbing on anything, was thinking 15x7s?

Otherwise in terms of the build was looking at:
    - 428 Cobra Jet (Questionable if it will fit otherwise will have to look at a 427 small block)
    - TR6060 Gearbox (1: 2.66 / 2: 1.82 / 3: 1.3 / 4: 1.0 / 5: 0.76 / 6: 0.50 / R: 2.9 / 810Nm Limit)
    - Ford 9 Inch Diff
    - Have not decided on shocks or springs yet, open to suggestions.
    - Brembo Disc Brakes on Front and Rear (Drilled or Slotted Better?)
    - 15x8 and 15x7 Cobra 427 Rims (245/60R15 and 225/60R15)
    - Need to Engineer Engine Mounts and Strengthen the Chassis for the 428.

Open to general suggestions as well.

First step is, is this intended to be road registered?

If yes, talk to an engineer. The engineer will tell you to piss off. This is nuts. If not, then fun happens.

You'll need to have the 9 inch shortened.
    New trans tunnel
    Body strengthening (which you mentioned)
I see in your other thread about wheels you wanted wide and now I understand better. You need tubs or to cut your outer guards and fit flares on the back. I think you might get the fronts to fit with a small positive offset (+4-+8 maybe with some rolling/flaring). Then grow some extra arms to help you turn the wheel with all that weight and wide tyres at the front.

Go back to the engineer. He will tell you to fuck right off.
Then ignore the nay sayers and make it happen.

Seriously, go see an engineer. You are almost certainly outside of any certification possibility without going the very expensive individually constructed vehicle route.

You almost certainly need to post photos and start a build thread. I need to see this. Such fun.
