MX73 tacho booster / mod for use with 1JZXgte

Hi all,

i know that this has been done years ago but cant find info on site (mostly links dont work)

History:

My Mx73 had the conversion done ~ 17 years ago with the non VVTi motor so is twin turbo, but tacho was never modded at the time

Car has been garaged for last 15 years and my son now wants to restore etc

can someone please supply details on mod works require and drawings etc for install

That's the page you're after, there's a pic towards the bottom with the 3 components you need to change on the tacho board

remember seeing tis nyears ago

so if i read correctly just change out the two resistors and one capacitor to the values listed?
the feed to the tacho from one plug or ecu??

Hi all,

having problems acquiring wiring diagram for a MX73 instrument cluster, need to identify the tacho input wire

i intend also to connect this to the tacho output wire from the 'orange' plug

Is this correct? have already changed the tacho board as listed above
