Default Using is300 manual ECU or standalone ecu on 2jzgte is200

    Hi Fellas!
I've recently purchased a 2004 JZS161 Aristo 2JZ-GTE engine with a r154 gearbox out of a JZX100 to put on my IS200 (2005 Model), one of the self-debates i'm having is am I able to run the same year model is300 manual ecu from US on to the is200 in order to run the conversion?

Or run a complete standalone ECU, now when it comes to standalone ecu, will factory clusters and airbags etc, still work coming from a custom engine management ecu?

    Cheers Fellas!

you can repin the looms to suit a Link G4+ Altezza plugin and the dash/ac/fuel gauge will all work. They've built in a CAN to BEAN converter on the plugin so all the factory stuff functions, and the plugin has the spare ignition and injector drives available so you don't need to run batch fire and waste spark on the 6cyl.
