Default Toyota 5M-E Head Bolts Details.

    Hi.

Does Any one know what the length of the head bolts for the Toyota 5M-E 2.8L Engine is.

The parts shop informed me the bolts are the same as the 21R Engine and are 161mm long, Thread M12 @ 25mm, 17mm bolt head.

The bolts I removed are 164mm in length so I don't know if these are stretched or just a different bolt and Ok to reuse.

    TOYOTA: ARP Head Studs
    22R: Part Number: 203-4201

    7M GTE-Supra, 5MGE: Part Number: 203-4202

    Nuts: 203-4701

Two different part numbers indicate different specifications.

Ordered new bolts from Toyota to be sure.

The 5ME has a different head setup to the 5MGE. but not sure about 21R and 22R, hence the above part number being different are not conclusive .

Thanks, I was hoping that you would get new bolts as a standard maintenance practice to avoid the flaws of used hardware. Good Job!!
