    Default 5MGE/7MGE in to MS55

IS there a thread that covers this conversion? I've searched and searched.
What I've understood is that it is basically a bolt in job.
I've got a W50 lined up, so no hassles here.
Know that it's a bit of work to get all the wiring done.
Would preferably like to put carbs on the motor, but then I am a bit in the dark about what inlet manifold to use, and if I can get distributor to work.
And last, but certainly not least, I seem to recall having read something about the sump having to be changed - I guess that depends on what car the 5/7 comes off?
    I do have the possibility to get hold of a 7MGE from a MK2 Supra or a 7MGE fra a MK3 Supra.

Any held or links would be really appreciated.

Looks like a 5MGE turned up. And I have a W58 ready as well.
Wiring the EFI for the 5MGE - any links to ´where it is explained.

Hi Ya You can use the sump and oil pickup from a 4M/2m as the other sumps will not work. 3 twin choke

carbs would be great tho manifold must be specially made, W50 excellent w58 better, much stronger.

with carbs no ecu/surge pot/return line/ HIGH pressure /fuel pump/ wiring simple for someone who knows sparks.

Yep - would prefer carbs, but looks like the one that turned up runs really well with the ECU.
And if I turned to carbs, wouldn't it give a few challenges irt timing, vacuum advance etc??

EFI wiring is quite easy. once you get hold of some pinouts sit down and work your way through it its not that bad.
realistically on 5 or so wires needed to connect up to get it running.
